Miles #3 Yellow Labrador Retriever Male 6 Years Old ID#3573
Meet Miles! This handsome 6 yo yellow Labrador was surrendered to a shelter because he kept getting loose and ending up in the shelter everytime he got picked up. He’s good with cats, dogs and people and loves everyone. Miles is now in a Brookline foster home. Please read his blog from the bottom up to learn more about him.

Last night, we had the pleasure of meeting Miles, our newest foster dog. From the moment we met him, we were charmed by his sweet and handsome demeanor. He’s an incredible car buddy; he simply lays down and falls asleep.
We stopped and grabbed some food to enjoy before our trek home and he was very happy to indulge. He is a little on the slim side so we look forward to some treats to reward good behaviour during our training. He knows the command sit for sure!We brought him home and gradually introduced him to our family. He was incredibly calm and non-reactive to everyone, including our dogs and cat. We have yet to hear him bark. We’re currently working on some continued correction, focusing on marking and potty training. However, he slept soundly all night in our bedroom without any accidents.
We have nicknamed him the yellow shadow as he definitely wants us to be near him and I’m sure as he adjusts to the routine and home life here he will relax as well.
We took him for a nice walk, and he handled it well. We’re continuing to work on his walking manners. In the coming weeks, we plan to take him out for plenty of socialization and leash training!
Thank you to Deb and Jamie for getting him to us!
He even enjoyed meeting some of the neighborhood dogs!
