Pasha Silver Labrador Retriever Male 2 Years Old ID#3667
Meet Pasha! Pasha is a beautiful pure bred two year old silver male. This boy came to Brookline as an owner surrender. His owner had to give him up due to some significant personal hardship, so now this sweet boy is in a Brookline foster home. Please read Pasha’s blog from the bottom up to learn more about him.

Pasha has been settling in great, and keeping us all active and busy. He and Cooper are settling into a groove, and the playtime has become a most of the time thing instead of an all of the time thing. We’ve been taking lots of walks around the neighborhood, and meeting lots of friends!Walking 2 big strong boys is a lot for FM while FD is at work, so she has recruited some friends to join us on walks. Pasha seems to have excellent manners on leash no matter who is holding it, and has even bumped into some Brookline alumni walking the neighborhood. He had a great run in with silver lab Leia, who was adopted from Brookline a few years ago. Her mom ran out of the house to meet Pasha, because no one can resist saying hi to this fuzzy little bear cub.
Pash Pash seems to be unphased by most things – we have walked past squirrels, cats, kids in strollers, and dogs barking at the fence line or from across the street. Pasha barely notices any of it – he is really just focused on sniffing along the route. He’s proven he can handle the rowdiest of dogs and keep his cool – I will try to get him in closer contact with some kids and cats so we can learn a bit more about him.
Pasha craves affection and in addition to their usual sport, he and Cooper are participating in the attention Olympics. Their competitions include: who can curl up at my feet while I work, who can climb into my lap on the couch, competitive begging on either side while I prepare dinner, and generally who can get the most snuggles.
Pasha is easy to love, and his adoptive family will be very lucky to have him.

Yesterday afternoon in the pouring rain, I met Iris, Mike and Pasha to bring him home! Pasha was a bit nervous, but readily hopped in the car, laid down, and was an angel the whole drive.
When we brought him home he got a nice thorough brushing, which revealed his GORGEOUS coat. If anyone is looking for a second Pasha, I think we have enough fur to make another. He is so soft and a gorgeous silver with chocolatey tones. Pasha has quickly turned to ‘Pasta’ in our Italian home, but I think he is really just a little meatball.Although Pasha had never lived with or spent time with another dog, he and Cooper are doing very well together. Cooper is extremely playful and wants to party 24/7, while Pasha’s interests currently seem a bit more… romantic. Once we get Pasha neutered, I think he will realize that he and Cooper are better off as just friends. They are both such gentle and friendly boys, so although they are driving each other crazy, it seems to be all in good spirits.
Pasha slept all night without a peep – we actually haven’t heard a single noise from him yet (other than some heavy breathing after zooming around).
He takes treats nicely, and has been eating most of his food (with Cooper staring at him drooling).
Now that the rain has stopped we took him on a nice long walk this morning, and he walked beautifully on a front clip harness. He definitely took his time to stop and sniff all the neighborhood news, but I assume as he gets used to the route he will be moving a little faster.
If you thought this excitement would tire these two boys out, fear not! Wes and I have been taking turns refereeing playtime between calls this morning while we work from home and the boys turn the house into a funplex.
