After a few short weeks in foster care, Sancho acts like he’s been here his whole life. Black Labrador RetrieverHis favorite part time is snoozing on the couch, often on his back with his legs in the air. Black Labrador RetrieverHe was even able to nap peacefully in the middle of a 13th birthday party. Sancho’s epic naps are especially intense after a short wrestle session with his doggy foster siblings. Black Labrador RetrieverWe are waiting to hear back from the vet about getting him seen for a minor, but persistent cough but if all goes well he will be available for adoption soon!

Sancho has had a great first week in his foster home! He has become quite the snuggle bug a has no clue how big he is!Black Labrador Retriever Sancho and his Lab foster brother and sister are working out their dynamics in the house and Sancho is even starting to join them in their playtime. Black Labrador Retriever Black Labrador RetrieverHe has been a perfect gentleman in the home and has not had a single potty accident. He also has not done any inapproprite chewing even though he absolutly loves the chew toys given to him. Sancho is even a gentleman with the two cats in the home and has paid little attention to the three pet birds! While his hips are a bit wobbly, Sancho is doing very well going up and down the steps without assistance. Black Labrador RetrieverAfter Sancho gets an all clear from his vet check up he will be ready to move into his new, forever home!

Sweet is an under statement when describing Sancho. This older gentleman is the true representation of a “gentle giant”. He is tall, dark, and handsome and his striking features make us think he may be mixed with Great Dane. Black Labrador RetrieverSancho towers over his doggy foster brother and sister and tries to play with them but is hips don’t like him to do too much of that. It’s ok though because he is perfectly happy snuggling up on the couch with you and acting like a 20 lb lap dog.Black Labrador Retriever Black Labrador Retriever Sancho has so much love to give someone during his senior years and we are going to get him to the vet as soon as possible to make sure his remaining time is happy and healthy.Black Labrador Retriever
