Memorial Bridie

yellow Labrador Retriever and womenToday (5/12/19) is Mother’s Day! I’m heartbroken, not only for losing 2 children, but also because my little girl crossed over the rainbow bridge this morning. She had a tumor on her thigh that spread and her entire leg more than doubled in size. We couldn’t watch her suffer, so the vet came to our home this morning to help her cross. We got Bridie in 2014 when she was seven. Oddly enough, she was surrendered by someone who lived ten minutes away and already had records at the vet I took her to. We fell in love with her immediately. Not only was she beautiful on the outside, but she had the sweetest and most loving personality you could ever ask for. She made no demands and was so easy to love. She was always there to greet me and comfort me. My kids loved her, but she was my little girl. I called her Mommie’s Girl. Bridie couldn’t get to my room upstairs for the past few weeks. My mom moved in about a month ago, and Bridie stayed right by her side on one floor. We’re all heartbroken. Please, help me find another sweetheart like Bridie as soon as possible. I miss her so much and it’s only been a few hours.

Thank you
Karen Simonetti
