Memorial Coco #11

Twelve year old farm mamma, Coco, is living her best life. She is sweet, loves being hugged and touched, enjoys sniffing and exploring in the backyard and enjoys being the company of our for residents.

Medically –  Her senior bloodwork came back good but she does have some mammary masses. The decision was made to not put her through any surgery for the time being because of her age.  She came to us with some arthritic challenges and was put on some medication hoping for improvement.  But last week after observing some small improvements with meds, rest, comfy bed and delicious food…we noticed her limping and favoring the back right leg. We took her back to the vet, and it’s been discovered after a second eval and X-rays, she likely had a partial torn cruciate ligament. Again for the time being, we are hoping that additional arthritic meds and some pain meds to keep her comfortable and more sleepy the issue may resolve itself. (Fingers crossed)

Coco #11 spent her last days with her loving foster family
