Memorial Reece
Almost 8 years ago, we adopted a wonderful fur baby from Brookline.
Peggy and Mary guided us through the process and were there when we took our buddy to his fur-ever home. I believe he was fostered with Rachael (if my memory serves me right).
His name then was Bif….we called him Reece (the name my oldest wanted to call my son that I was pregnant with at the time).
Reece passed away yesterday morning. Old age and heart failure. We rushed him to the vet, but he was dead when we got there…about 15 minutes after he started showing symptoms. It was quick and painless.
Our hearts are broken. We are sad beyond belief. But, we have been blessed to have had him with us. Reece was an amazing dog who gave us so much. In our sorrow, we found the photo from the day we got him…..in a parking lot at Painter’s Crossing on October 18, 2005. I was 6 months pregnant at the time with my youngest (now almost 8). I want you to know how much he was loved in our family. We are all mourning…but grateful to you for allowing him to become part of our family.
Thank you for all that you do.
Tracey Beck-Campbell (with Jay…Kelsey…and Cole)
