Our hearts are heavy as we lost a part of ourselves, this past weekend when our loveable sweet Shelly left us. We know it was her time, even know her illness seemed so brief. She was a strong dog who managed to wag her tail and follow your every move even though you could see it was difficult for her to get around at times in her golden years. She was everything and more than we hoped for when we adopted her from Brookline in Feb 2004. We are so thankful to Brookline for finding this perfect dog for us! We are so grateful to Karen and Tom for raising her to be so sweet, and knowing when she needed young friends to play with her, just when our children needed her too! We still need her, and find it a struggle not to notice her absence.
Thank You Shelly for your devotion to us, and great manners. Everyone who met you loved you and you are missed. We hope you have an ocean, frisbee and a Frosty Paw wherever you are now!
