Cooper
It’s been a little over 4 months since we brought Coop home but it feels like he has been here forever! He fits right in!
He has free range of the house with Ryder and no longer uses the crate. He’s been doing great! We’re still working on a few things – pulling on the leash, swimming and socialization. He gets a little nervous in the water but is more comfortable when Ryder swims by, he lets her get the stick but then takes it and brings it to us to be thrown again. He loves to run and chase the tennis ball but comes right back when he is called! We go camping every weekend with lots of swimming, hiking, running and playing with kids! Friday afternoon he is waiting by the door ready to go back!
It took a while but Brookline found us the perfect match not only for us and our active life style but also finding the perfect friend for Ryder. Since rehabbing a torn ACL,, Cooper has been great for her. She is more active and playful again but he knows not to be too rough with her. They share toys, beds and treats! Every once in a while they even cuddle together!
Terry – we just wanted to say Thank you! you were amazing and very helpful! We Love Cooper and happy he is part of our family!
