Leo

chocolate Labrador Retriever sitting on womenWe adopted Leo in April after having a heartbreaking experience with a different rescue organization. We loved how thorough and honest Brookline was about their dogs. First meeting – he hopped right in our car and was ready to go home! I think he picked us too.

Leo is a great fit for our family. We have had lots of adventures together already, camping, hiking, swimming in creeks and Leo’s favorite – the end of summer dog swim at our local pool! He has become a favorite on the sidelines of the kids soccer games and has gotten much better about trying to chase the ball! Now his favorite thing to do is sit on my lap and act like he isn’t as big as he is!!

He is a sweetheart and happy as can be as long as he is with his people.

Many thanks to all the Brookline volunteers, but especially Jen who squeezed our home visit in as quickly as possible, and Foster Dad Joe who picked us and has stayed in touch and offered words of wisdom.

Sincerely,
The Rinkevich Family
