Max

black Labrador Retriever Christmas tree Max is a gem, he has become part of our family easily, as though he has always been with us. He has put on the weight he lost during his surgery(and then some) before we were able to adopt him. He has been with us since August and has met just about everyone and dog in the area that walks. He is known as being a very friendly older gentleman. Everyone knows he’s older but are surprised that he is 11, he has a lot of energy. He greets all people and dogs with tail wags, he’s especially good with puppies. He is well known in our area. There are a couple of dogs that we met that growled at him and Max totally ignored them. In my experience the growling could have led to a confrontation, not with Max he is amazing, not submissive just sure of himself. We have had a few dogs stay at our house and he has gotten along well with them also. We walk every day at least twice, usually 1 mile in the morning and after super. We walk with friends that have Labs, Max loves his walks. He also goes out into the back yard which is fenced and he checks everthing out. Max also loves riding in the car also. He is a little more vocal than the other labs we have had but at least he lets you know what he wants. We really love having Max as a part of our family. Thanks for letting us adopt this wonderful boy!
