Rocky #16

My husband and I are feeling blessed that Rocky has joined our family. Our sponsor, Valerie, helped us through the process and we brought Rocky, a five year old black lab, home in early September. He has fit into our home like he has been with us forever! We are so thankful to Valerie and to Brookline Lab Rescue for bringing us together.

Black labRocky had some minor issues that we seem to be breezing through as he adjusts to his new home. He absolutely loves other dogs and other people. His best bud, Max, is another rescue from Brookline. Max and Rocky are both originally from New Jersey, so we call them the Jersey Boys.  No, we haven’t been able to teach them to sing, yet.

Rocky loves playing and exploring in his new fenced in back yard. We have established a routine that includes, at least, two walks a day. He never let’s us forget when it is time to walk and he loves interacting with everyone we meet. Even though he seems fine with being our only dog, he really loves playtime with other dogs!

Thank you Valerie and Jen for making his transfer to our home go so smoothly. Thanks for all the help and support you have given us to make this happen!
