The shelter described Gunner as a gentleman, and he lives up to that description. We picked Gunner up from ACCT in Philly. He said sweet goodbyes to the director they had grown very fond of each other. He did great on the ride home in the car.
We took him right to Concord Pet for a bath to get rid of the Eud De Shelter. He was a little stinky. He did great love the bath. Came home, checked out the outside, and met Mabel. Mabel is setting her boundaries, but all went well. He took time calmly inspecting the house, just walking all over. Had a great night’s sleep. Slept all thru the night.
Took him and Mabel on a walk this morning; they did great, a little pull but not bad. We walked near a busier street, and he was not concerned about the cars at all. He is very chill. Listens well. He ate well this morning and loves his treats. Likes to bark talk but settles quickly. He is the handsomest dude. We look forward to seeing more and more of his personality. He is the sweetest.

PLEASE NOTE: While this Lab may not be available for adoption by the time you complete the adoption process, other great Labs are always finding their way into our Rescue. (Note: Sometimes a foster home falls in love and adopts their foster dog so the dog doesn’t make it to “Available Now”).
